What we collect, why, and who sees it. Last updated September 1, 2026.
When you contact us or join a waitlist: your email address, and anything else you choose to enter (name, jobsite state or ZIP, project type, home size, message). We also log the IP address the request came from, to limit abuse.
When you start the project quote form: once you have entered your email address, what you have typed so far is sent to us as you go, even if you never press the submit button. We use it to follow up on requests that were started and not finished. If you do not want that, do not enter your email address in the form; you can email us directly instead.
When you order: your plan set and the project details needed to prepare the report, including the jobsite address. Payment card details are entered directly with Stripe and never touch our systems.
When you browse: we use Microsoft Clarity and Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site. Clarity records page interactions such as clicks, scrolling, and mouse movement, and captures session replays — reconstructions of a visit that we can play back, including the values typed into the contact form. We use this to find broken and confusing parts of the site. You can opt out of Clarity at clarity.microsoft.com, and out of Google Analytics with Google's browser opt-out add-on.
To answer your question, prepare and deliver your report, invoice you, and tell you when a service you joined a waitlist for opens. We do not sell your information and we do not run a newsletter.
Each of these providers handles data under its own privacy policy. We do not share your information with anyone else except as required by law.
Plan sets and reports, including files you upload on your project page, are kept so we can honor the acceptance guarantee, at least two years after delivery. Contact form submissions are kept in our email. You can ask us to delete your data at any time. We will erase it from our database unless we need it to complete a paid order or meet a legal obligation. Uploaded files and backup copies are kept permanently.
Completed quote requests, and the emails we exchange about them, are also stored in our project database so we can track each request. They are kept on the same schedule as your plan sets and reports.
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email our contact address. We are a small business and we answer these ourselves.
This site is for adults ordering construction compliance documents. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will update the date at the top. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept it.
